Social Studies:

1. Think about all the wonderful things that a mother or special lady has done for you in your life. Think about why you love them.

2. Watch Mrs. Flohr reading What Moms Can’t Do .

3. List ways you can show your mother/special lady that you are thankful for all they have done for you.

4. Make a card for the woman who helps take care of you. Include two sentences to them on why they are special to you.

5. Give the card you made to your mother/special lady and tell her why you love her.

6. Draw a picture of/for your mother or special lady.

7. Make a coupon booklet for your mother/special lady including things (such as back rub, wash dishes, clean room, feed pet, take out trash, set the table, 1 hour of peace and quiet) you will do for her throughout the year.

8. Interview (talk with) your mother/special lady and ask about her favorite things (such as color, holiday, food, vacation spot) and why they are her favorite. You can use the pdf, “Interview Mom”. Interview Mom.pdf
